- Genetics, epigenetics, prenatal and postnatal environments, and early attachment in brain development

- The history and purpose of the DSM, including diagnostic change and its implications for neurodivergent people
- Neurodiversity as natural variation using biodiversity analogies
- Executive function and an overview of ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and related neurotypes
- Social norms, systemic barriers, strengths and challenges across neurotypes
- Guided reflection to integrate learning into professional contexts
