Employer/Employee Coaching supports both staff and employers alike, helping improve communication, build trust, and create better workplace relations.
Delivered through structured 2:1 sessions, we provide science-led support for neurodivergent employees and their employers, helping both parties develop greater understanding, strengthen communication, and work more effectively together.
Designed to support workplaces navigating individual neurodiversity needs, each session provides practical guidance around communication differences, workplace challenges, reasonable adjustments, role expectations, performance concerns, and working relationships.
The focus is on constructive, balanced, and solution-focused conversations that help identify personalised support strategies, improve workplace confidence and trust, and create positive outcomes for both employee wellbeing and organisational functioning.

Employer/Employee Coaching
Providing a structured, science-led approach to supporting neurodivergent employees and the organisations they work within, our Employer/Employee Coaching is delivered through collaborative 2:1 sessions involving the employee, employer, and one of our highly-qualified practitioners.
At NeurodiverseLIFE, we recognise everybody’s neurodiversity profile is as individual as their fingerprint! As such, our approach is designed specifically to bridge the gap between individual neurodiversity needs and workplace understanding.
We believe effective workplace support should be tailored specifically to the individual—not based on generic assumptions surrounding diagnoses or neurotypes. All of our sessions are therefore designed to identify realistic, practical, and role-specific strategies that support both the employee and the organisation in working more effectively together.
Acting as a bridge between employee experience and organisational understanding, we help both parties communicate more clearly, constructively, and effectively. The focus is not solely on challenges, but also on recognising and supporting neurodivergent strengths within professional environments, including creativity, innovation, problem-solving, pattern recognition, attention to detail, and hyperfocus.
Sessions help employers and employees develop a clearer understanding of how a person’s neurotype may impact areas such as:
- communication and interpersonal interaction:
e.g., direct communication styles being misinterpreted as abruptness, difficulty processing verbal instructions
in fast-paced meetings, or misunderstandings caused by differing communication preferences. - executive functioning and organisation:
e.g., difficulties with prioritisation, task switching, time management, meeting deadlines, or managing
multiple competing demands. - sensory processing and environmental needs:
e.g., overwhelm caused by noise, lighting, open-plan offices, constant interruptions, or difficulties concentrating
within busy workspaces. - emotional regulation and stress responses:
e.g., becoming overwhelmed under pressure, shutdown during conflict, heightened stress responses, or difficulty
regulating emotions during high-demand periods. - workload management and prioritisation:
e.g., difficulties breaking down larger projects, managing competing priorities, or sustaining focus across
prolonged administrative tasks. - fatigue, masking, and burnout:
e.g., exhaustion caused by prolonged masking, overcompensation, chronic stress, or trying to maintain
neurotypical working patterns unsuited to the individual. - confidence, anxiety, and workplace wellbeing:
e.g., fear of speaking up, imposter syndrome, workplace anxiety, or lack of confidence in expressing support needs. - the impact of hormonal changes on workplace functioning:
e.g., changes in memory, concentration, sensory sensitivity, emotional regulation, fatigue, sleep disruption, and
increased overwhelm within professional environments.
Through our work, we foster a greater awareness of how life stages and biological changes can both influence workplace performance and wellbeing over time. This includes understanding how hormonal fluctuations may amplify existing neurodivergent traits and recognising what realistic support may help reduce unnecessary stress, fatigue, or misunderstanding.
Our Employer/Employee Coaching is delivered in a professional, supportive, and balanced manner, recognising that reasonable accommodations are exactly that—reasonable for both employee and employer alike. Sessions are available both privately and through Access to Work funding.
All of our sessions are recorded and transcribed, with access to additional resources to support long-term change. Likewise, each session includes practical tools, frameworks, and repeatable strategies, providing:
not just insight, but implementation too!
